Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are grain, malt, fruits and hops. Bready finish.

500ml bottle from Mitchells Hop House, Meadowhead - Clear yellow body, thick white top. Nose and taste are ordinary grassiness. Nothing else to report.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines, Sheffield. Dull gold. No head. Dull condition. Nose has some earthy hop. Some citrus. Taste has a light sweetness. Ever so slightly vinegary. Finish follows suit. Poor.

[ As Mitchell’s Hop House Independent ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161013] 6-3-6-3-13

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines, Sheffield. Hazy, bright yellow. Ring and bubbles of bright white. Looks great. Nose has sweet wort. Some cut grass. Some diacetyl. Taste is grainy sweet. Fine carbonation. A bit greasy. Mostly sweet on the finish, with some grassy, spicy bitterness.

Bottle. Mitchell’s, Sheffield. Straw colour. Soft haze. Film and ring of white. Decent, bright hop to this. Lemon. Grapefruit. Orange rind. Lots of yeasty, bready malts that overwhelm slightly. Taste is sweet, bready and worty. Minimal bitterness. Light body. Soft fizz. Short finish.

Bottle. Mitchell’s, Sheffield. Pale gold. Soft haze. Film and a ring of white bubbles. Nose has light, biscuity malts. Sweet grain. Pale, yeasty bread. Some sweet, floral hop. Taste has a honey sweetness, turning light to medium, citrus peel bitter. Light body. Modest carbonation. Light, lingering, bitter finish.
