On tap at Craft Room, Opatovina, Zagreb. Yellow, murky, white head. Light hoppy aroma, mostly citrus. Light body, light to medium carbonation. Sweet and light bitter finish. Bready also. Not bad. Some buttery aromas this time.

On tap at Craft Room’s stand at the Opatovina Beer Fest. Pivionica has already raised the bar quite high with their IPL, and people were generally eager to get their paws on this one, with me as no exception. :) Golden, clear body with a thick white head. Light aroma, sweetish, currant and lemon from the hops. Nice, soft, light taste, tangerines, citrusy in general. Another well crafted, extremely drinkable hoppy lager from Pivionica!

Jun. ’16. On tap at Leopold’s, Split. It poured a hazy yellow body with a yellow head. Fine citrus and tropical fruits aroma, with additional herbal note, very pungent, like a real IPA. Very strong and bitter flavor, herbal, flowery, tropical fruits, with bold bitterness going all the way through the long finish where lemon and herbal notes stay the most. Dry. The malt component in the flavor was biscuity, caramelly and fruity, too, not grainy not typically lagery as expected. Full bodied. In a blind tasting, this one would have fooled me! Excellent job.

Bottle @ Jacobs. 4,8% ABV. Pours golden with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, yeast, white bread, hay. Flavor is light sweet, malt, yeast, bread, honey, hay. Medium body, lively carbonation. 170716

Pours almost completely black topped with a medium sized beige head, slowly settling. Very mild aroma, some gentle roasty notes with dry fruit presence somewhere in the mix. Later on more chocolate can be picked up. Taste is mildly sweet, a bit grassy with medium bitterness. Slightly spicy feel in the end. Some slightly soury grains. Light body. Ok.

Kiselkasti miris i okus.Malo sam probao i bacio jer mislim da je dobila kakvu infekciju. Pisalo je da vrijedi do 7.7 a pio ju dan kasnije i nije valjalo. Kao da pijem sour beer a ne lager. Šteta...

Pours a clear golden color, topped with a medium sized white head, creamy with fair retention. Lots of bready notes in teh aroma, little bit of yeast - that homely feel. Sweet start, malt accenuated with mild bittery feel. Also in aftertaste. Medium body. Not the best, but not bad at all.

On tap at Craft Room Zagreb. Pale golden coloured, small white head, fruity nose. Malty, light caramel, citrusy fruity, decent hoppy and notes of oranges with lingering bitterness in the finish and aftertaste. So far the best Pivionica beer.

Jan. ’16. A 0.5 l bottle. It poured a clear golden body with medium sized head. Weaker grainy and honey aroma with a touch of herbal hops. Flavor was lightly sweet, bready and grainy with fine honey malt and light herbal bitterness. Thin to medium body. Finish was short, lightly grainy and chalky with a dry hop note, too. Okay, just okay for a pale lager, boring for someone expecting anything more.

Unclear, golden-amber colored, small+ white head. Aroma is of fruity melon, tropical fruits, citrus, some caramel, a bit musty when warmer. Taste is medium sweet malt, light caramel, some grainy notes, medium hoppy aroma, tropical fruity, grape, melon, citrus, medium- bitterness, dryish finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bit oily. Very good, a big leap for Pivionica! (on tap, HopIn, Zagreb)
