On tap at Jupiter, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is on the earthy side, with a musty hop character and some resinous oils. Flavour is a bit better, with resinous hop oils, a little pine, and just enough biscuity malt to back. Balanced well, though the hop character isn't the most invigorating. Pleasant.

On tap at Jupiter, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is piney and oily, with lots of bitter piney hops, a bit of resins, and crisp biscuity malt. Nothing amazing but it's well-brewed and pleasantly balanced. Solid.

This beer is certainly overhopped given the style and its relatively thin body for the style. It could use more malt body and less bitterness without a doubt.

[ As Jupiter Quasar Double IPA ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, fruity hops - dried fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, dried fruit, fruity hops, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20161230] 8-3-8-3-16

From tap at the brewpub. ABV was 4.8% according to the blackboard. Black color with beige head. Roasted malty aroma, coffee, licorice. Light sweet and medium bitter taste. Light to medium almost oily body with soft carbonation.
