On tap at In de Wildeman. Slightly hazy deep golden colour, off white head. Aroma is slightly sweet, malty, bread, light honey, floral hops. Flavour is malty, light sweet bread, light flowery, firm bitter light grassy hoppy and malty finish that lingers a bit. Light to medium bodied. Nice.

Bottle rating
Hazy amber colour, no carbonation, slight white bubbles from pouring. Aroma of medium aged Gouda cheese (Belegen kaas), with a slight hint of vanilla coming up after spending some time in the glass. Tart flavour, lactic acid, rather dry. Quite nice. Finish is quite tart with notes of cheese.
Rather unbalanced, and no real notes of bitter Warrier. Maybe aging would improve the beer.
(Shared glass from bottle @ De Bierkoning during NL Brett Dagen, Amsterdam)

Draught rating
Same colour, slight white head. Aroma still cheese, quite fruity and floral. Flavour has too much cheese and sweat, not so nice. Finish cheese and wood.

Hazy ruby brown colour with a big off-white head. Beer gushed slightly when opened. Smells yeast, alcohol, sharp. Tastes caramel, liquorice, chocolate. Quite a surprise, a bit stout like. Also some iron and rust taste, which is a shame. Slightly watery though, a lot of carbo.

Cask @ In de Wildeman, Amsterdam. Murky brownish, slight white lacing. Smell only some sweetness. Taste earth, ash, pretty dry, only lightly sour. Pretty watery as well. Low carbonation, medium body. Apart from the appearance it’s ok.
