bottle from brugsen. cloudy brown, small smooth beige head. bitter caramelly and malty aroma, quite nice for a brown ale. faint notes of roasted malts. Flavor is roasted malts, sweet caramel, end is a bit more roasted and bitter, palate a bit watery, lots of flavor for the ABV, if a little bit of roast , bordering to burnt plastic is okay in your brown ale, this one is a pretty decent one. Really. it tastes pretty good.

Bottle. A huge, light beige head forms over a semi-clear, light copper colored body. Quite weak aroma with some roasted malts, caramel and a fruity touch. Medium body, semi-sweet. Decent carbonation, Some roasted malts in the flavor, with caramel, fruityness and a touch of dried fruits. Well, rather boring, but far from bad tasting. Can’t imagine I’ll have another one though. 120430

Hazy blond color, with very large eggwhite-like head. The aroma is quite yeasty and spicy, wheaty; then there is a very light yeast fruitiness. It has too much carbonation; some malt flavor, very spicy and also quite yeasty; the bitterness is high.
It tastes like a low octane Belgian IPA, too bitter.
Rough, but not bad.

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of fruit and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, moldy malt, and boring hops, leading to a dry bitter finish. Lacks hops.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a cloudy amber with an off-white head. Fresh peachy hop aroma. Fairly light body - almost watery - and again rather neat notes of tinned peaches. Rough bitter finish. Very uneven, but decently drinkable. 260412
