Fresh 500 ml bottle carried back from Kyrgyzstan. Thick, cloudy, milkshake like golden. Nose is phenols, wheat, citrus, very creamy and a bit off-putting but not seriously bad. Grainy wheat flavor, clove, bananas, some egg. Thick and heavy. A bit amateur, and almost more like a weizen than a wit, but ok.

Urban 312 Wheat Beer 3.8% How random is that? A beer from Kyrgistan. An eggy Weizen clove spice aroma with a full body and lots of eggy wheat notes. Tons of cloves. Passable.

100cl PET bottle from a local minimarket in Bishkek. Pours clear caramel to chestnut coloured without any head to speak of. Unusually herbal, almost medical - reminds me a bit of Riga balsam initially, or maybe more like the Swiss herb candy. Sweet and bready as expected, but rather unusual flavours. Quite okay still.

100cl PET bottle from a local minimarket in Bishkek. Pours clear pale golden with a small, white head. Grainy aroma slightly grassy and herbal notes. Grainy water, thin and not much flavour, but almost more refreshing than some of the usual pale lagers here.

100cl PET bottle from a local minimarket in Bishkek. Pours clear pale golden with a small, white head. Grainy aroma with hints of ripe apples, cooked vegetables and possibly hints of hops too. Moderate sweet with a quite light bitterness and low flavour intensity. Light and slightly watery, but somewhat drinkable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Nashe Klassicheskoe / Наше Классическое on 23 Sep 2019 at 21:14 - Score: 4
