Tap@Malmö Öl & Whisky Festival, Malmö - pours black with a off-white/beige head. Aroma and taste is roasted malty with high chocolate prominence, licorice, slight burnt dark malty notes, coffee, caramel, cocoa, dry roasted finish.

Draught @ Söder om Småland, Claesgatan 8, Malmö, Sweden 214 26 [ As Chad Beer Bunyip ].Clear medium to dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, roasted, dark malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, dark malt, bread, thin, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160123]

Drucken på fat på Bishop Gustav. En trevlig APA/IPA med tropisk frukt och citrussmaker. Frisk, fräsch och lättdrucken. Trevlig

Keg at Bishops Arms Gustav, Malmö. Dark brown, mid sized head. Aroma of cocoa powder and cherry brandy. Mid sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Lightly fruity with salty cocoa powder. Low bitterness. Artificial and one-dimensional.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Chad Beer 15 Minutes of Flame ].Unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale mlat, moderate to heavy hoppy, herbs, citrus, light grapefruit, vegetables notes. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate to light bitter with a long duration, citrus, pine, sweet malt, vegetables notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140517]

Hazy golden color with a fine off white head on top. Ok lacing. Malty, fruity and citrus hoppy. Ok body. Fresh bitterness and tad sweet. Average carbonation. Lovely nice flavor! Caramel malty, fruity and citric/grapefruit. Nice IPA.

Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 14A). Bottle 33 cl - batch unknown. AROMA: moderate fruity aromas (white grapes, somewhat citric) and floral notes. no grassy notes. malt character very faint in the background. APPERANCE: amber/orange color and hazy with some matter in suspension. medium ivory head with good/average retention. TASTE: low fruity and floral flavours, not masking the aromas. high bitterness without the support from the malt, that lingers into a dry aftertaste. PALATE: light body with moderate carbonation. OVERALL: an unbalanced IPA that needs a bit of improvement on the flavours and body.
