Bottle, 0.33l, courtesy of Yuri. Clear clay amber color with medium frothy off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of dominating mango, while pineapple, caramel and herbs are also noticed. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel, but gets quickly overpowered by tropical fruity and slightly grassy note, mouthfeel is crisp, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Good idea, although nothing new here, even genie in a bottle in terms of slight "off note" occurs...

Thanks to Pornoguru who accidentaly bought an extra and gave it to me! :D So, the concept is cool, named after Slovenian aviation pioneers, the Rusjan brothers, or, perhaps, Edvard Rusjan, the better known of the two. One glance at the hop list and I was excited... so how it fared... Murky, dark amber body, not much of a head. The aroma starts with a blast of diacetyl, mixing with herbal notes. So... basically, it smells like butter and pelinkovac (wormwood liqueur). The taste is actually better, the body is soft, a peachy note breaks through, but it feels slightly too light. No bitterness to boost it really, but some shows up, herbal, in the aftertaste. Another beer bottled at Vizir that I need to try on tap to actually appreciate for what it is. Though, admittedly, I seriously doubt that the diacetyl is due to their bottling line. There’s potential there, but the bottle some of us shared today was an utter mess I’m afraid. I hope for the sake of the Slovenian craft scene that these things get sorted out. :)

On tap at Pivo & Burger Fest Ljubljana. Hazy golden coloured, small soapy white head, fresh hoppy nose. Moderate malty, biscuity, quite aromatic fruity hoppy with notes of herbs in the finish. Strong bitter finish and bitter aftertaste. Nice one and so far the best of three Maister beers (General and Vega).

Bottled 500ml. -from Za Popen’t Ljubljana. Hazy golden coloured, small off-white head, herbs and hint of nettle in the nose. Moderate malty, herbal hoppy, notes of fruits and caramel with mild acidity in rather bitter hoppy finish. Expected better brew.

Pours a slightly hazy orange golden color, topped with a fairly small off-white head. Nice and distinct fruity aroma - sweet notes, some citruses, pine notes and blueberries. Sweet start, mildly, followed by a moderate and very pleasant hoppy bitterness. A bit too herbal aftertaste can be a bit ofo. Otherwise very drinkable and aromatic IPA, more on the gentle side of the style.

0.5 l bottle shared with Marko and Ogi. Thanks Ogi. Hazy dark yellow with small off white head. Heavily hopped, intense aroma. Sour fruits and cabbage. Hoppy, light, dry and bitter in the finish. Lingering. Crisp and refreshing. Good light beer.

Thanks Ogi! Shared with him, Hrabren and Anja T. Murky golden/amber body, small white head. Slightly sweaty, sharp, fruity-herbal hoppy aroma, dry maltiness. Taste... sourish, vaguely soft and fruity, but off, sweaty too. Damn damn damn. Vague hoppy aftertaste. Might be a good recipe, but the bottling line likely killed it a bit. Oh well. Hope to try it fresh on tap, this bottle is off.

A bit to much herbal. Otherwise quite nice!
Unclear deep golden color with a fine white head. Looks nice. Good lacing. Herbal, malty, citric and fruity aroma. Medium (+) body and an average carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Herbal, malty, fruity and citric flavor.
