Description
The Ayr Brewing Company brewed it's first ales in October 2009, and in a short space of time gained numerous awards at both local and national level. As a 5 Barrel Micro Brewery we are currently producing around 60 casks of ale a week and supplying pubs throughout the UK. We are the first brewery in the area for over 80 years and operate out of The Glen Park Hotel, where you can enjoy a delicious meal and our ales on tap in the bar/restaurant.

Cask at Halfway House. It pours deep red-brown with a thick white head. The nose is toasted brown bread, earth, leather, light caramel/brown sugar, fruit cake and dried fruit. The taste is smooth, toasty, some bitterness, light caramel, wood, brown bread, light spice and dried fruits with a dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and velvety mouth-feel. Nice balance and great drinkability. A great bitter.
