Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a milky yellow to copper color with a slim cap of a white foamy head that fell off into oblivion. No lace.
The aroma had some soft sweet bready malts, somewhat like dough, gentle grassy hoppiness, not necessarily bitter, just there.
The flavor was lightly sweet with a fair wet doughy aftertaste and finish.
The feel was almost medium bodied but sat just a tad under. Felt fairly smooth along my tongue.
Overall, I didn’t mind this for me, but then again I just expected it to be a normal hellerbock and nothing more than that.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a dark red/brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a moderate pace. Light stringy lace.
The aroma had some roasty coffee beans up front, pretty bold and ended with some earthy hop dryness.
The flavor was dry and roasty through the coffee beans. Super dry coffee aftertaste and finish.
The feel was about medium bodied, maybe a touch under with a decent sessionability about it. Light carbonation. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, pretty nice dry stout, worthy of having again.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a fairly dark red almost brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a moderate pace. Light stringy sliding lace.
The aroma had some mild roast with some nuts, light dough, banana and earthiness, somewhat like leather.
The flavor did a decent job of blending the prior mentioned aromas together fairly nice. Sly aftertaste of banana, nuts and earth. Finishes fairly quick.
The feel was about medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Mild carbonation. Good ABV.
Overall, nice enough brown ale worthy of more pours for me if I could get it again even though where did that banana come from, different, and unsure if it was intentional.

This is a fairly simple stout, with dark brown pour and the dark/roast malt components you'd expect. It's just fine, but there just isn't a ton here.

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 10/2/10

Aroma: The nose is fairly sweet, toffee, roasted malts, and a touch of fruit
Appearance: It pours a fairly dark brown-black color with a bit of tan head
Flavor: The taste is fairly sweet up-front flowing into a roasted malt finish
Palate: It has a fairly light body, but isn't watery at all, it has a smooth feel, and low carbonation
Overall Impression: This was probably my favorite thing that I tried here, a fairly enjoyable and well-made brew. I thought it was a solid Schwarz, and I enjoyed drinking it.

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 10/2/10

Aroma: The nose had a good amount of spice, a bunch of caramel malts, and a bit of hops
Appearance: This beer pours a clear caramel orange color with a small beige head
Flavor: The taste is also spicy and caramel malts mostly with a bit of bitterness
Palate: It has a somewhat spicy mouthfeel with a lasting tingle on the tongue
Overall Impression: I found this beer to be a decent enough overall. It wasn't great, but it was good. Something I'd drink again at this place based on what is available here, but not something I'd go out of my way for.

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 10/2/10

Aroma: The nose has caramel/toffee malts along with a bit of hops, a fairly light nose
Appearance: This one is a clear orange color-red beer with a head that leaves light lace on the glass
Flavor: The taste is fairly balanced, subtle, with a light malty sweetness and some hops as well
Palate: The body is light to medium, it has an alright mouthfeel, but it thins out a bit as it goes
Overall Impression: Overall this reminded me of a something between a simple, standard ESB and a low hop English style IPA. I didn't love it, but I found it to be sessionable enough to enjoy with my meal.
