Description
Founded in 2005. There are plans to re-establish a brewery in Alnwick . Later the Brewery moved to premises just outside Alnwick after being taken over by Harry Hotspur Holdings. They provide beers for sister company Lindisfarne, they also utilise brands Hawk Wing Beers and VIP.

We are owned and managed by Harry Hotspur Holdings a niche investment company with a vision to “preserve the past and build the future” for niche food and drinks businesses in Northumbria. In the portfolio there is also; Lindisfarne Limited famed for their world famous meads and also the Alnwick Rum Company.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of elderflowers, hops, and crystal malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of elderflowers, hops, and malt, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. DArk yellow colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finsh. Oily palate.

500ml bottle from the vistor centre, Alnwick Gardens. Golden body with a thick billowing white head that faded slowly; hoppy aroma with traces of apricot and lemon; smooth and rounded in the mouth, the bitterness well-balanced by the malts; rather sweet finish.
