Bottle. Chocolate toffee malt aroma with hint of hay. Clear medium brown color with small head. Slightly sweet toffee malt and mildly bitter herbal hops flavor. Light smoky aftertaste. Fairly light body. Overall pretty nice.

Bottle. Barley malt and hay aroma. Medium yellow color with moderate head. Slightly sweet creamy malt and moderately bitter hay flavor - very good. Nice solid German Pils.

Bottle. Raisin and toffee malt aroma with mild astringency. Clear chestnut color with nice head. Sweet raisin and toffee malt flavor with a mild astringent finish. Nice body. Very good.

Bottle. Sweet barley malt and light astringent aroma. Clear golden color with large head. Honey malt and moderate bitter/astringent flavor. Pretty good.

Bottle: Clear, golden, quite stable white head; bisquity grainy nose, delicate hoppiness underneath; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; slightly lingering sweet and pronounced hoppy finish. Absolutely not unpleasant.....

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Sweet biscuity malty aroma with lighter grainy spots and a tinge of floral and slightly herbal hops. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Biscuity malty taste with traces of honey; medium-dry sweet and slightly bitter hoppy finish. Not that bad. 22.XII.10

Bottle. Chestnut, fine carbonation, off-white layer. Bready aroma with light marzipan. Nutty, roasted, light chocolate flavours, fitting grassy hop counter. Chewy body, sparkly mouthfeel. Light licorice aftertaste, still quite fresh though - very drinkable bock.

(bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a big and tanned foamy head. Doughy malty, minimally toasted aroma with shy traces of caramel and hops. Slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Doughy and shy bready malty taste with hints of caramel far in the background; slightly sweet and dark malty finish with illusions of hops. Disappointing Dunkel. 18.XII.10

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Strawy and slightly sour doughy malty aroma with notes of herbal hops and onions. Slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly strawy malty taste with veggie notes of onions/field garlic and herbal accents; dry and moderately bitter and herbal hoppy finish. 18.XII.10

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, dark amber colour with a mid-sized tanned foamy head. Sweet and slightly toasted malty aroma with notes of beet sugar and a tinge of caramel. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly toasted malty and molassy taste with shades of caramel; sweet malty and shy bitter finish. Nothing special. 09.XII.10
