50cl bottle from a gift-box. Brilliant clear straw colour wth a white head; slightly musty tropical fruit aroma; rich and buttery in the mouth with lots of fruit - mango, pineapple, and grapefruit, and an immediate bitterness; the finish is long and lasting with a gentle bitterness that hides the alochol very well. The best of the bunch.

50cl bottle from a gift selection box. A perfectly Ok traditional English bitter. Amber in colour with a ring of white head; a light vegetable bitterness to start, and a caramel malt body. Full of flavour despite the low ABV.

[as From The Notebook Puffin Best Bitter] (bottle) Slightly hazy amber with thin beige head. Aroma when cold was slightly fruity but as it warmed up became malty with a slightly spicy edge. Light body, medium carbonation. Flavour starts with some initial fruity tang quickly giving way to a nice bitterness balancing some light maltiness. The bitterness continues through to a nice long tasty but gentle bitter finish. Very nice beer.
