Gravity cask at the brewpub. Aroma is malty with sour fruit. Clear chestnut. Frothy off-white head. Medium bitter. Grainy. Woody. A touch of resin even. Underlying juicy fruity streak. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat-average carbonation. Long astringent finish. Punchy for the style.

Bottle from the White Lion Inn, Ufford, Suffolk. Pours a hazy golden colour with an average sized white head. Aroma has some hop and malt, light fruit, but also with a slightly skunky edge. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Quite high carbonation. Recall having had this from cask before and it was better, will re-rate next time.
