Description
We think life’s too short not to enjoy what you do, so we decided to brew. First and foremost we brew beer for you to enjoy. But we also think the art and science of brewing is fascinating so we’re going to share that with you.

We’re interested in creating good chemistry in its broadest sense – not just in the quality of the beer we brew, but using that to allow us to celebrate community and relationships across science, the arts, music, food, and social experiences, as well as beer & brewing. We might be biased, but we think Bristol is one of the best cities in the UK, and we’ll shout about that as much as we can.

The brewery was started by Bob and Kelly in 2015, finding a home for the 10 barrel kit in St Philips in East Bristol.

Panda courtesy of mR_fr0g, cheers Fergus! Gluten Free. Hazed orangey golden colour, bubbly white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of malt, grain, citrus. Taste is sweetish, malty, grain, fruity, with citrus, pine and hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry hoppy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Can at home picked up from Fuss Club. A light hazed golden orange coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is semi sweet, fragrant orange, midget gems, grassy orange, bready notes. Flavour is composed of earthy flaked grains, wheat, bready, zesty orange, bitter grassy hop, flinty mineral. Palate is semi dry, grainy, moderate carbonation. Ok for a sans gluten number.

Cask ale, half pint at Smithfield Market Tavern (Blackjack). Shared with Finn. Filmy layer over a clear dark amber body, laces quite well. Inviting on the nose with leafy hops and mid-sweet malts. Fine blended taste profile with mild caramel malts, nuts, and leafy hops. Rounded bittersweet tail. Like it. (Manchester, 21.03.2024).

Cask at Egham Easter 24. Aroma is sweet and fruity with a sour verging on vinegar edge. Cloudy light amber. Frothy foamy white head. Sweet. Resinous edge. But overall, full of fruit and sugar. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice.
