Lett sløret gylden med hvitt skum som legger seg som ett slør. Aroma malt eple gjær gress humle. Smak aprikos humle gjær gress malt. Fin fylde, lett bitter og fin frukt. Tap på Grünerløkka Brygghus

Bottle from Gulating. Close to pitch black body with a nice, dense, lacing tan head. Aroma is dark roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate and hint of green pepper. Flavor is smooth and soft dark, mild roasted malt, medium sweet dark chocolate, bitter coffee, slightly piny and really not much chili to be found here. Decent body for the low alcohol and smooth aftertaste. I fine Irish stout, even without any chili burn as promised from the label.

Can from Gulating. Almost clear golden brown body with a big, creamy tan head. Aroma has brown malt, coffee, bread and herbs. Flavor is moderate sweet brown malt, bread, slightly harsh coffee, nuts and floral/herbal hops. Medium body and average aftertaste. Quite much taste for a relatively low alcohol beer, still I find it a bit out of balance somewhere between the malt, hops and coffee. Perhaps it’s just the low ABV?

Can from Gulating. Practically clear, pale golden body with a small white head. Not much aroma at all here, hint of grain but nothing that reminds me either of a wit or an IPA. Weak flavor as well, slightly grainy with hint of acidic orange peel. There is an unpleasant of flavors here as well, I guess it might have something to do with the oranges, but it reminds me more of dishwasher water. Something got to be wrong here, this is undrinkable by me.

Bottle. Unclear reddish brown body with a small beige head. Aroma has malt, toast, some dry fruit, hint of caramel and red berries. Flavor is not sweet, but doesn't feel dry either, medium something I guess. Toast, caramel, dry fruit, slightly sour berries and mild, fruity yeast. Moderate bitterness. Balanced body and fine aftertaste. Different and interesting without the WOW factor.

Bottle. Dark brown, almost black body with a big, dense beige head. Strong and nice aroma of roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate. Flavor is nice and pretty impressive for a 4,7% ABV beer, balanced, smooth dark malt, smooth roasted, coffee and chocolate. Not bad at all.
