Bottle. Dark brown, almost black body with a big, dense beige head. Strong and nice aroma of roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate. Flavor is nice and pretty impressive for a 4,7% ABV beer, balanced, smooth dark malt, smooth roasted, coffee and chocolate. Not bad at all.

Bottle from Gulating. Unclear, reddish deep golden body with a moderate sized tan head. Aroma has caramel malt, ripe red fruit and hint of bread. Flavor is medium sweet, light toasted caramel malt, toffee, mild ripe fruit, some oranges and medium bitterness. Balanced body and fine balance in flavors as well, decent aftertaste in the same direction with a little touch of butter towards the end. Not bad, not very exiting either but fair enough fruity and malty thirst quencher.

Bottle. Black body with a nice, dense beige head. Nice aroma, dark roasted malt, fruity hops and smooth, quite mild coffee. Flavor is nice ans smooth, dark malt with well integrated coffee flavor. Nice roasted flavor, balanced bitterness and warming alcohol. Fine body and nice aftertaste. Nice one.

Bottle. Unclear dark brown with a small beige head. Roasted malts, burnt notes, dark bread crust and some dried fruit in the aroma. Full body, nice carbonation, semi-dry with a decent bitterness.
