Bottle from Total Wine in Roseville. Orangey color with a decent beige head. Smells lightly spicey. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is malt with spicey hop. Not a bad beer.

Bottle from Total Wine in Roseville, CA. As Czech Style Pilsner. Golden color with an ok white head. Smells grainy. Rather thin, foamy carbonation, grain, lightly spicy hop. It’s ok. Finish is fairly bitter.

Draft at Toronado; by far the best GB brew I have had; Nose of banana, caramel, bubblegum, and brown sugar; cloudy, very dark brown with a medium tan head; flavor was banana, light brown sugar sweetness, and light bitterness. Damn good WB!

Tap (Honolulu). Sweet caramel and barley malt aroma. Amber color with nice head. Sweet caramel and barley malt flavor with a moderate hops finish. Very nicely made - as good as anything you’d drink in Munich.

Draft. Slightly hazy caramel colored beer with an off-white head. yeast, malt, and wheat aroma. Caramel, wheat, yeast, and banana flavor. Medium body. Sweet caramel lingers with yeast, light banana, and light spice. I liked it more than I thought I would.

Cloudy beige with a thick head. Fresh toasty nose with light yeastiness. Kellerbier accented. Very toasty on the palate with light yeast notes, maybe a hint of phenols. A little overcarbonated, like they all seem to be at the Miami location. Doesn’t quite come together beyond that little bit of fresh toastiness.

On tap, Miami
Golden-amber colour. Caramelly nose with some diacetyl. Way too fizzy, even with the frozen glass. More caramel and diacetyl on the palate. A tough pint to choke back, quite frankly.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Spice, earth, and malt aroma. Spice, earth, and light caramel flavor. Medium body. Mineral, caramel, and spice linger - not as much caramel as many octoberfests.

Draft. This premium lager was sitting aside several mass-market lagers. The choice was easy and this premium lager turned out to be easy drinking with lots more taste than its competitors on tap. Not to say this was extraordinary because it wasn’t. But it was above average. Medium yellow body with a short, white head. The aroma is lightly malty with some notes of grain and lightly hoppy with notes of grass and flowers. The flavor is moderately sweet (perhaps overly so) and lightly bitter. The finish remains sweet and only lightly bitter. Medium body and watery texture. Plentry of carbonation.
