Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Small head with short duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are dry bitter apples, notes of wood, alcohol and grass. Quite dry.

750 ml clear screwcap bottle, vintage 2010, from Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget. ABV is 8.5%. This is a still cider from the first Norwegian cidery using primarily homegrown French and English cider apple varieties, not only sweet eating apples. Golden colour, no carbonation. Moderate but nice aroma of cider apples. Dry and nutty flavour of oxidised and bitter cider apples. Interesting, and better with food than on its own.
