Lett tåkete amberfarget med lavt beige skum. Lukter kandis, trevirke, nøtter og noe sitrus. Lett. Maltig søtlighet, brent karamell, lite bitterhet. Kort.

Bottle at home. Described as a saison fermented with brett and black currant. 6,3 % ABV. Unclear deep red color with a pink creamy head. Nice and fruity aroma dominated by red berries (blackcurrant), heather, apple cider vinegar, lemon and earth. Similar to a fruit lambic. In the flavor the berries is present but less. In addition, earth, grass, leaves and a little alcohol. Acidic. Slightly tart and dry finish. Smooth and silky mouthfeel, medium body and medium bitterness. Very nice and berry aroma. I feel the flavor lack a bit of berries or more malt perhaps. Slightly unbalanced, but exciting. The saison could have been more present.

Bottle at home. Has a deep maroon color with beige and solid head. Its aroma has distinct hoppy notes of pine needles, resin, but also roasted malt, grass, chocolate and hints of pineapple. Clearly hops in flavor too with more pine and resin, but also nice malt sweetness with caramel and chocolate in the background. Grassy hops in the aftertaste that is somewhat dry. Surprisingly silky and soft mouthfeel due to low carbonation. Medium to full body. Has a balanced, distinct bitterness. The beer has a great balance between powerful hops and sweet caramel-chocolate tones. The mouth feel gets a little strange with so low carbonation. Otherwise sturdy ale that is both flavorful and aromatic.

Bottle. Have a hazy orange color. Nice creamy, off-white head. Its aroma is spicy and fresh with clear signs of Belgian yeast, coriander, lemon grass and grass-like hops. Some alcohol touch. Sweet malt dominates the flavor of wet hay over to grass and hops in the ending. Smooth mouthfeel, medium body, medium to strong bitterness. Its aroma is nice, fresh and saison-like. The taste is a bit more one-dimensional mostly focusing on malt and grass. Not unlike a tripel. A solid food beer.

Bottle. Slightly hazy dark amber. Light beige head. Quite carbonated. Some careful aroma of heather, forest floor, biscuits and a little caramel and rowan berries. The flavor reflects the aroma, but the malt is more pronounced with sweet oatcakes and dried apricots. Has a smooth and soft mouthfeel, medium body, light bitterness. Fruity and malty ale with notes of wild yeast. Exciting beer but unsure whether it is suppose to be like this.

KØLF 240916. Black color with a brown head. Aroma is yeast, malt, hop, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is dry, yeast, malt, coffee, oat, hop, chocolate. Medium to thin body. OK beer.

Bottle. Pours a deep dark brown colour with a small off-white head. A little careful and malty aroma with some dried fruit, leather and cocoa. Flavor of pine, leather and some grass. A litte dry. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a balanced bitterness. A careful but well-balanced ale. Decent.

Big foamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry mineraly, weeds, co2 stinging in the nose, flowers, yeast, hay, sap, old moss, bark, old wash cloth. Taste is harsh mineraly, weeds, minerals, bark, old wash cloth, hay, old moss, medicine, paper. Medium to longlasting bitterness, harsh medical mouthfeel. Meh!

DArk golden with a large off white head - Malt and some spicy yeasty aromas - Malt body and peppery, spicy yeasty flavours - The flavours goes into the finish with some hop bitterness in the back - To much yeasty flavours, but still ok

Gylden brun klar med høyt hvitt skum. Lukter granskudd, sitrus, grapefrukt og skog. Middels pluss i fylde. Bitter smak, sitrusskall, floralsk og noe sydhavsfrukter. Lang bitter avslutning.
