Bottle at home. Pours a deep hazy brown color with a khaki head. Pine in the aroma along with harpix, leather, grapefruit, leafs, bread, some roasted malt and caramel. Lots of grassy hops, harpix and wood in the flavor but still some bread and roasted malt in the background. Full-bodied, soft and slick mouth feel, and has a heavy bitterness. A very aromatic and tasteful IIPA, and quite bitter. Not my favorite hop mix but a solid brew.

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry grassy, moss, lawn, leafs, wet hay, bark, hops, hay, light malts. Taste is slightly dry grassy, leafs, lawn, hops, bark, light malts, moss, hay, hints of citrus peel. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Nice enough.

Pours hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, grape, orange and hint of chalk. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium bitter with a long dry, citrus and grapefruit finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap @ Kick. Unclear golden body with a medium sized, dense white head. Nice aroma with passion fruit, but less fruity and leaving moe room for the malt than #1. Refreshing flavor of mild pale malt, fruit in general and some distinct but not dominating passion fruit, sharp bitterness. Medium body and a bit short in aftertaste. Quite nice but not as distinct and original as #1.

Fra fat på Mi2 Cardinal aug-15: uklar gylden. Humlene er Fuggles og Bramling Cross. Har de brukt noe røykmalt? Lukter jord, banan og epler, tørket frukt og noe røykaktig. Finner meg ikke helt til rette i smaken, må kanskje prøves igjen selv om min venn Steven fra London synes denne er hverken en god eller typeriktig esb.

On tap at Cardinal. Pours cloudy amber with solid white head. Aroma of dried fruits, smoke, sulphur, floral hops, herbs, glue. Distinct bitterness, slightly astringent and phenolic.
