On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours cloudy reddish dark amber. Aroma of yeast, glue, dark dried fruits, sherry. Taste bitter, a little sweet, astringent. Completely unbalanced.

Fra fat på Cardinal mars-15, og så avgjort en bra åpning på denne Mandag i annen. Lett uklar brunrød med fint skum som varer. Mye malt med litt grapefrukt og masser av bær. Lett bitterhet i ettersmaken, som varer lenge. God!

Mørk rødbrun tåkete med lavt beige skum. Lukter nøtter, litt røkt, lett kaffe og sviske. Skarp brent bitter smak og ettersmak.

Keg, at Kick. An unclear orange colored beer with a dense white head. Some lager-ish yeast notes in the aroma at first, with lots of fruityness kicking in. Orange notes, passion fruits and some pine cones. It’s medium bodied and soft on the palate, quite dry. Lots of passion fruit in flavor, with a nice bitterness and a generic fruityness. Lasting finish. Very fruity finish. Refreshing and quite tasteful this one, pity there’s only 250 litres of it. 150319

On tap at Kick. An unclear one, orange in color and with a small, off-white head. The aroma is on the peachy, piney and resiny side, with a touch of malts in the back. Orange zest, pine cones, resin notes and malty sweetness. Nice bitterness. It’s full bodied and pleasantly carbonated, lasting hop dominated finish. Refreshing and tasteful and easy drinkable. 150319

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Large and creamy beige head. Mildly roasty aroma with notes of dark chocolate, liquorice and wood, also hints of fruity hops. The flavour is neither too sweet nor too dry, malty notes with chocolate and a hint of liquorice again, a whiff of smoke, hoppy finish with fruity hints and resinous notes, the bitterness comes through in the aftertaste.

On tap @ Cardinal. Pours amber with off-white head. Aroma of fir needles, caramel, citrus, "cat piss" - all in... Some sweet taste, followed by a long lasting bitter aftertaste.

Fra fat på Cardinaltreff feb-15: her er det humler i langge baner - aroma og smak av gress, grapefrukt, sure appelsiner og furunål. Usjarmerende og ubalansert.
