From tap at Mi2 at Cardinal 23.02.15. Hazy orange. Bitter orange, grapefruit and pine. Bitter taste. Something unfresh in aroma and taste. Particularly in aroma. A bit too earthy.

On tap at Café Sara, Oslo. Clear amber with a lasting off-white head with good retention. Very hoppy aroma dominated by pine, some citrus and herbal notes too and caramel and malt. Medium sweet with rich, hoppy flavours and a quite intense bitterness. Tasty stuff. Long, bitter aftertaste with piney notes.

Aroma: Fresh citric/grapefruit hoppy and mellow tropical fruity.
Palate: Medium (+) body. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Fine citric hoppy, some caramel malt and mild pleasant tropical fruity.
Overall impression: Nice tasty IPA.

On tap at Kick 270814. Murky purple colour with a pinkish head. Aroma is black current , malt, hop. Flavour is black current, malt, sourness, hop, pine. Weird beer, but also interesting in a way.

On tap ay Café Sara, Oslo. Extremely difficult to judge colour in the backyard of Café Sara, but at least pretty dark with a possibly beige head. Surprisingly mild aroma, at first dominated but thr roasted malt with notes of dark chocolate and licorice. Hoppy notes with pine, some citrus and lightly herbal notes comes secondary. Fairly sweet and malty with nice roasty noted and some hoppy flavours too. Finishes somewhat dry with a certain bitterness. Tasty and nice, but would prefer more hoppy noted. Still a nice one.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Black colour, moderate beige head. Moderate aroma of chocolate and mild coffee. Well balanced flavour, roasty notes of dark chocolate and coffee, decent hops in the finish. Robust enough for me - a straightforward, no-nonsense well made porter

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar,Stavanger. Hazy orange colour, low off-white head. Lovely hoppy aroma, notes of tropical fruits, citrus, pine and spruce. Very hoppy flavour, pine and spruce galore on a background of medium sweet malts, also grapefruit. Slightly warming mouthfeel. Excellent!

Fra fat på M2 Cardinal nov-14: meget uklar gulbrun og med svært mye skum i muggen men nesten ingenting i glasset. Munnfølelse som en engelsk håndpumpet ale. Aroma og smak av grapefrukt og andre bitre frukter med et ubehagelig sidesprang til silo. Virker for fersk, så kanskje den er verdt et gjensyn om et par uker?
