Bottle @ America Strikes Back, Ulfborg. A persistent gusher. Pours cloudy rich straw with neverending airy white head. Clear aroma of fruit, malt and alcohol, with notes of hops. Sweetish, fruity flavour, with notes of hops and flowers. Sweetish aftertaste. Not quite an Amber Ale. More like a Tripel. OK, still.

Bottle, 6.5%. Gusher, Hazy yellow with giany white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, yeast and hop. Flavour is malt, fruit, yeast, phenols, little dry, medium sweet, grainy straw and a little bitter.

Bottle, 75cl. A lightly hazy golden beer topped by a small, dense, white head. Some wet cardbord and cooked vegetables in the aroma, as well as fruityness and a little maltyness. Notes of burnt plastic and nail polish remover. Sweet, fruity flavor with cooked vegetables, malty hints and a faint bitterness. Medium body and soft carbonation. Short finish with the same brewing errors as in the initial flavor. Although there’s bad things going on here, it’s sort of drinkable. Sort of. And there’s not much amberish going on. 140509

Taste is dry grainy, weeds, wet grain, hay, yeast, light malts, cereal, unripe banana, sugar. Medium bitterness, harsh mouthfeel, high carbonation. Crap as usual, almost makes me want to vomit.....

Uklar gul farge med masse skum ved skjenking. Liker at den er såpass godt med kullsyre. Men skuffende på lukt og smak. Lukter litt svakt med humle, grapefrukt og sitron. Mangler også den bitre gode ipa ettersmaken. Men samtidig frisk tørstedrikke

Taste is kind of harsh grainy, weeds, hay, harsh wet grain, light malts, yeast. Little bitterness, dry very watery mouthfeel, very high carbonation. Meh!!

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland Saturday Session 1 - 01/03/14. Hazed orange with a good sized white covering that retains well. Nose carries notes of sweaty towels, bitter orange, ladies armpit aroma, bread dough, peach. Taste comprises floral notes, mandarin, apricot, juicy hop tang, melon, grassy. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Didn’t have a problem with this one, an Ok IPA!
