Bottle. A lightly hazy pale golden beer with a finger-thick, dense, off-white head leaving some lacings. The aroma has lighlty peppery and quite grassy and piney hops, with some pale malts in the back. Some grapefruit. The flavor is mostly on the hoppy side, with a very grainy maltyness. Grapefruit, green pine cones, some grass and a nice bitterness. Medium body, soft and with a pleasant carbonation level. Long, citrusy finish with a little maltyness. Not really sure about this one, it’s quite nice, but there’s some weird maltyness in the flavor. At least I think it’s the malts. Something strange is going on, it’s not bad, just strange. Well, at least it drinks easily, it’s quenching and refreshing too. 140624

Nice slightly bubbly longlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet grainy, hay, grain, weeds, light malts, yeast, cereal, almond essence, toast. Taste is harsh grainy, toast, wet grain, harsh weeds, almond essence, burnt caramel, hay, grass, paper, bark. Medium bitterness, dry harsh mouthfeel. Meh!!

Aroma: Chocolate, coffee and some roasted malt.
Palate: Medium + body. Moderate sweet and an ok bitterness. Average to soft carbonation.

50cl bottle from Meny Oslo City. Pours hazy amber with an off-white head. Fairly mild aroma of malt, caramel, fruits and hints of yeast and citrus. Moderate to medium sweet with some acidity and hints of some funky stuff. Notes of sour green apples in the flavour. More sour than bitter. 500 ml bottle. Hazy golden body with a nice, stable, big off-white head. Weak aroma, grain, hint of malt and something best described as old fruit caramel. Flavor is drinkable but almost extreme boring. It feels dead and lifeless, kinda malty with old hay and some kind of harsh bitterness. Close to unpleasant, but not quite there. Medium body and harsh aftertaste. Lacks some fruitiness, bitterness and happiness.

500ml bottle, batch 10, bought at Meny Oslo City and shared with friends back home. Chalky white head to a hazy apricot coloured body. Fragile lacing. Grassy hops on the nose. Strange taste of farmyard, smoke and yeast. Dough like endnotes. Possible to drink, a little disjointed though (Tårnrommet, Tromsø 15.05.2014).

Flaske 0,5l innkjøpt av Rune og delt med flere andre på Tårnrommet 15 Mai 14. Lys aprikosfarget. Uklar. Kritthvitt skum som varer. Fant lite aroma. Smaken er bondegård. De deler en helst ikke bør smake eller lukte på. Ikke bra. Hint av røyk i ettersmaken - men helheten ble dessverre elendig.

Litt duft av citrus, appelsin og honning. Dunkel gulbrun farge. Lite skum, noe hent lagns kant. Smak av appelsin, med en anelse honning og noe citrus i ettersmaken.

Bottle. A hazy, golden-orange beer with a dense, white, two-finger head leaving lacings. There’s a faint touch of chicken farm in the aroma, could it be smoked malts perhaps, with some sweetish pale malts and a little fruity touch. Orange juice. A bit more pleasant flavor, slightly boring though, with pale malts and orangey hops and some generic fruity notes. Lacking a bit on bitterness, even for an English style pale ale. Medium body, soft and pleasant carbonation, semi-dry. Fruity finish with a malty touch. Lacking bitterness. Not a very good first attempt I think, both silghtly unclean and boring. 140509
