Description

On tap at the Brewery. A clear amber beer with a beige head. Aroma of strong caramelized malt, grains. Taste of caramelized malt, grains, biscuit, not too boozy.

Good white, stable head over clear metallic golden beer with fine carbonation and lacey. Very malty nose, corn-ish, sweet pale malts, hint at toast. Compared to the nose, a better balance bitter - malts, giving a slight hopbite, even when it is fleeting. Until the aftertaste which gives a more lasting bitterness. Light body, quite grainslick (gluten?), low carbonation. Classical, not very exciting German Pilsener. Thanks to Stef!

Small white head over metallic golden beer. Straw, pale malts, and hints of a very lightly sourish aroma. Sourish (CO² enhanced), pale malts, really dry finish for a Pilsner. Warming up, hint of honey. Light, feels a bit better carbonated than its dead looks warrant. Dry aftertaste throughout. Nose is absent, taste is quite good for a classical Pilsner. Thanks to Stef!

16/1/2021. Bottle courtesy of Beerhunter111. As Treverer Pils 4.9% abv. Pours clear pale gold with a frothy just off white head. Aroma of grain, sweet malt, corn, grass, citrus, touch of caramel. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Crisp bittersweet finish. Nicely done, quite enjoyed this.
