Over the top wood, medium alcohol heat. The wood overpowers whatever else may be present, may be worth a re rate in the future

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy pale gold with a medium, fluffy, long lasting, white head that leaves thick patches of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of wheat malt, mango, pineapple, grapefruit and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of wheat malt, grapefruit, orange peel, mango, peach, pineapple and oats in a dry, mild bitter, green leafy hop finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and average carbonation. Tasty and easy to drink.

Can from Firefly, Vancouver
Dark brown colour with beige head. Aroma of parmigiano, dsrk malt, with a touch obf roastred nuts. Lean mouthfeel, with light residul sugar, nice dark chocolate flavour with a touch of smoke snd vsnilla (from the barrel); the weak body makes it greatly drinkable.
Fun beer.

Pours with okay beige foam and a very dark brownish black body. The aroma is tiramisu cake, sweet coffee, sweet chocolate. Flavour is a decent dry mix of sweet coffee and chocolate. Mouthfeel is a little thin for something like this and honestly I can't detect any bourbon barrel character whatsoever. It's like a spectrum where the bourbon barrels can dominate or they can just not show up at all for the party - this one's the latter. Otherwise it's still very drinkable and the alcohol is very well hidden.

473mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Nose brings out a decent bourbon character, albeit somewhat rough, with moderate roast. Flavour is quite bourbon-dominate, but again quite rough, with moderate roast and little depth. It's certainly pleasant, but it's not elegant, nor overly integrated. Decent.

473ml can. Pours a hazy orange-copper with a medium, foamy, long lasting, beige head that leaves thick patches of lace. Mild, sweet aroma of toasted caramel malt, orange and floral hops. Sweet flavour of biscuit malt, caramel, orange peel, light grapefruit and grassy hops in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Easy drinking. A good English IPA, eh!

Pours with really weak foam and a boring deep brown body. Smells badly of some sweet barley, maybe oatmeal, but it's all pretty weak. Flavour is flimsy caramel and molasses. Slightly cloying mouthfeel. This is just a poor showing all around.

Good foamy foam on a clear light gold body. Smells very well of sweet hops, citrus notes, pineapple. Flavour is muddled citrus, pineapple notes. Chewy mouthfeel and a bit of wet juice in there. Pretty fun and very drinkable.
