12 oz. can, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma reveals bright gooseberry, some heady hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is very bright, with lots of gooseberry, citrusy hops, some grassy bite, and crisp biscuity malt. Tons of gooseberry and hop bite. Excellent.

500mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is surprisingly complex and refined, with big bourbon barrels, gentle Xmas spices, and a touch of earthy dark sugars. Flavour is surprisingly decadent, with a wonderful bourbon oak expression, very subdued spiciness, and a touch of earthiness. The barrel character wonderfully carries this. Excellent BA miscellaneous strong ale.

500mL bottle. Pours very dark brown with a small beige head. Bourbon, cinnamon and allspice, and brown sugar on the nose. Flavour has brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves, allspice, and a fantastic bourbon barrel character. The base supports the barrel very well. This is excellent, great balance of spices and barrel.

On tap at Kulshan - Roosevelt. Pours black with a tan head. Bourbon barrels, wax, and dark sugars on the nose. Flavour is very boozy, cheap whiskey up front, wax, and some suars. The barrels are very rough and boozy. It's barely palatable.
