On tap at Kulshan, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out skunky notes, some anise, and roast. Flavour is just as bizarre and off, with skunky vegetal notes dominating over top a roasty smooth palate. The flavours are rather nasty to be honest. Too much vegetal quality. Drain pour

On tap at Kulshan, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out roasted malt and only a touch of smoke. Flavour is along the same lines, with a very robust palate. The smoke is barely even present. Solid roasted stout.

500mL can, pours a deep dark brown with a medium, very quickly dissipating beige head. Nose brings out dark Christmas-ish spices, Belgian yeast, some subtle dark fruits and dry cocoa. Flavour is really quite elegant, with notes of dark dried fruits (especially figs), dry cocoa powder, light spiciness, and Belgian yeast. Medium-to-full bodied with a fairly gentle, soft carbonation. Very well-balanced and very easy drinking. Excellent beer -- one of the best from the brewery.

On tap at Kulshan, pours a deep dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out ginger, cinnamon and roasted pumpkin. Flavour is thankfully not too dominated by the spices, but they do sort of take over from the subtler base beer. Nice robustness to this and well-balanced - just not a fan of these pumpkin spiced beers. Good for what it is.

On tap at Kulshan, pours a deep dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready caramel malt and toasted pumpkin. Flavour is quite nice, with roasted pumpkin, bready caramel malt and some toffee-like sweetness. Quite nice without the spices to overtake. Very nice base beer - preferable to the spices version.

On Tap at the original Bellingham tapproom. Black with a huge dense light brown head. Aroma of soft sweet chocolate and roast. Flavors are a bit on the mild side for an Imperial. Lots of sweet chocolate. Feels loke a high FG and I’d say a bit under bittered for the style. Still, its very tasty and easy.

On Tap at the original Bellingham taproom. Yet another clear light golden beer with a thin off white soapy head and lacing. Nice big up front citrusy hop aroma. Lots of bitterness but not that big for a Double. MIssing the mark I think on the fresh hop flavor. Papery and bitter, but not much of the classing west coast type flavors. A little dissapointed

On Tap at the original Bellingham taproom Clear dark brown with a rich creamy nitro light tan head. Subtle dry roast aroma, and classic roasted flavors. Late there is a definite ashtray soot flavor. Light dry and thin. nailed the style I think.
