Pours muddy brown with very little head. Aroma was a weird mix of wild weeds, wood, barley, and floor scrapings from a barn - unique if nothing else. Taste is a very odd non-alcohol mix of barley and malts, nutty flavour, and lots of water. Weak palate. Points for trying, but this one just doesn’t work.

Bottle from Naturalia north of Les Halles in Paris. Rich nutty aroma, caramel, earthy, chocolate. Nice chestnuts. Dark brown with no head, almost flat. Sweet, nutty flavor with chocolate. Rich--chestnuts very evident, not too sweet or cloying, though certainly sweet. No hops evident. Very nice--great chestnut flavor, slight fruitiness.
