Draft. Deep brown body. Short, beige head, slowly diminishing. The aroma is showcases roasted malts with a hint of smoke. Notes of chocolate, coffee. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Thin to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Roast taste with a light smokiness. Metallic taste in finish and a bit thin, but nice overall.

tap at Indiana Winterfest - hmm... others rated a winterfest brew under the regular "Rudolph’s Revenge" entry, but my notes definitely indicate a barrel aged version. Odd. At any rate, it pours deep golden. The aroma is malty and quite woody. The flavor has very sweet malt and big oak flavors from that barrel. It works well together and I enjoyed this one.
