Hazed golden pour with a big head. Decent intensity in the aroma, but….double dry hopped?? A bit to rich carbonation level. Fizzy mouth feeling Semi dry ending and a bit to short duration Malty, herbal and mild fruity flavor. Have someone forgotten the hops? [Bottle from Gundersen]

Bottle. An unclear dark, dark brown beer with a finger-thick beige head. Some curtains. The aroma is lightly ashtray-ish, but mostly with roasted malts, cocoa, brownie crust and a light touch of prunes. There's a nice chili burn in the mouth, it's a bit thin on the palate, as expected for a beer this strengt, with a rather soft carbonation. Roasted malts, cocoa, brownie, some dark dried fruits, dark chocolate and a touch of vanilla in the flavor. Long finish with roasted malts, brownie crust, chili burn and some vanilla hints. A nice one indeed, but it suffers from the ABV. 190518

Bottle. An almost clear golden colored beer with a finger-thick dense off-white head. Nice lacing. Orange, pine cones, peach, grass notes, some herbal hints and a light touch of pale malts in the aroma. It's medium bodied, semi-dry and with a bit heavy carbonation. Decent bitterness, with flavors of orange, orange zest, some peach, grass and a faint herbal note. Some pale malts in the back. Long piney, zesty finish with a grass touch. Although not as in-your-face fruity as many Session IPA's, it's a fine brew for sure. 190518

Bottle. A slow gusher. It's an almost clear one, golden in color and with a small, dense white head. Sour fruity aroma with a touch of mango in the back. Some doughy notes and pale bread too. A hint of herbs and grass lurks in the back. It's medium bodied, quite dry and with a bit heavy carbonation. Semi-tart, with flavors of tropical fruit, mango mostly, some lemon juice, dough and a zesty bitterness. Lasting fruity finish with a dough touch. Refreshing and quite tasteful this one, although a bit doughy. 190518

Bottle. A firm, two-finger off-white head forms over an unclear orange-golden colored body. Rather weak aroma, grassy and hay-ish, with some pine cones and a vague note of tropical fruits. It's medium to full-bodied, nicely carbonated and quite dry, with nice bitterness. Else the flavor is quite weak, with pine cones, grass, a herbal touch and some pale malts. Long quite bitter and herbal finish. Too old-fashioned in style this one. Lacking on fruityness at least. 190518

Bottle. It pours an unclear orange colored body with a finger-thick off-white head. Some lacing. The aroma is a bit weak, herbal and lightly tropical, with a hint of pale malts. It's medium bodied, a bit low on carbonation, with a decent bitterness. Pale malts in the back of flavor, with piney, herbal and citrusy hops. Medium length finish. Bottle. An unclear reddish brown beer with a creamy, finger-thick beige head leaving curtains. The aroma has a good dash of licorice, with coffee and rye bread in the back. It's medium bodied, semi-sweet and with a very soft carbonation. Sweet licorice flavor with some dark chocolate and coffee, rye bread and dark sugar. Hints of cola towards the sweet licorice finish. Nice this one, but too thin on the palate. The imperial edition is sure preferred. 190518

KYGG 060419. Black color with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, licorice. Flavor is licorice, alcohol, roasted malt, chocolate, lactose, sugar. This was a nice one.

330 ml bottle, from Bris Ølutsalg, Jørpeland. 4.7% ABV. Black colour, small tan head. Aroma of roast malts, chocolate, chili and vanilla. The flavour has moderate roast, thin coffee, some chocolate and vanilla but not very sweet, modest hops, with a moderate but still fairly distinct chili burn in the finish.
