Can thanks to my Secret Santa Michael. Pours a clear orange gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a combination of light grapefruit and grassy hops with a backbone of hay and earthy grain. Flavor starts with earthy grassy hops and hay up front with a bit of earthy citrus in the finish.

Tap. Pours with clear bronze body with a small tan head. Decent lace. Aromas are fruity, tons of caramel, raisins, medium esters. Pine and grassy hop notes. Flavors are fruity, very estery, dark fruit (special B?), caramel, crystal malt laden. Bitter without a huge hop flavor. Lively carbonation, but a bit sticky.

Sample at Flying Saucer in Austin. Hazy yellow pour with a medium fizzy white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit and wheat. Light-bodied with a tart fruity character and notes of wheat and grain behind it. The finish is slightly funky with a citrus aftertaste. Solid Berliner Weisse overall.
