Can picked up from Craftbeershop webshop, Parchim, Germany and consumed at home Friday 27th March 2026, listening to the 6Music festival, we've listened to the Horrors and now Bloc Party. We had homemade Fishcakes and Rocket Salad with Pear, Walnuts and Parmesan for tea. Pours black with a large beige head, looks great. The aroma is predominantly chocolate but roasted malt plays a part and some spent coffee grains and bitter cocoa add to this. Taste follows a similar trajectory with a little caramel and toffee addee to the mix. Very old skool imperial stout, not overly sweet no adjuncts, it is a straightforward imperial stout, solid stuff but very nice.Score 7.3

Can picked up from Craftbeershop Parchim Germany and consumed at home Friday 27th March 2026, we had Fishcakes and Rocket Salad with Pear, Walnuts and Parmesan. Pours yellow with a mid/large white head, the nose is vibrant and pushy, slight tropical notes but certainly on the tangy side, so perhaps Cape Gooseberry, a little mango, juicy but also super hoppy. This really doesn't seem like a German beer, I don't mean to be harsh but wow it's very out there. V.good even though not my favourite style. Score 7.5

Can picked up from Craftbeershop Parchim Germany and consumed at home Friday 27th March 2026, we're cooking Fishcakes and preparing Rocket Salad with Pear, Walnuts and Parmesan later then Torrijas for dessert for me, listening to the 25th anniversary version of Mono - Under the Pipal Tree. Pours mid gold with a fast disappearing white head, virtually clear, perhaps a hint of haze. It's sort of edging towards West Coast but for me it's not quite there, I wish the bitterness was more piney/resinous it's a bit mid table, it's a dry, light furry, a touch harsh when some sweet maltiness would have helped, fruitiness is light lemony and pithy. Fine. Score 6.8

Bottle picked up from Fristo Getrankemarkt Freising and consumed at home Friday 27th March 2026, sat on the balcony in the sunshine ☀️ although it's a bit chilly. Cooking and preparing Fishcakes and Rocket Salad with Pear, Walnuts and Parmesan later then Torrijas for dessert for me. Anyway onto the beer, pours warm gold with a mid/large white head, clarity is excellent, sweet maltiness, nice mouthfeel, a little honey, perhaps not as hoppy as they seemingly suggest on the bottle. Enjoyable stuff. Score 7.3

Bottle picked up from Äpfel Getrankemarkt Moosburg and consumed at home Thursday 26th March 2026, we had Smoked Haddock Stew with Cheese Dumplings, listening to Nathan Shepherd and Deb Grant at the 6Music festival. Pours clear gold, mid sized white head that doesn't last for that long, Erring on the sweet slightly boozy side, thickness in the mouth, lots of maltiness, honey and a little syrup edge. Fine but not totally doing it for me. Score: 6.9

Picked this up from Äpfel Getrankemarkt Moosburg and consumed at home Wednesday 25th March 2026, listening to ByteFM and cooking Mash Potato, Yorkshire Pudding and Onion Gravy, unfortunately I hadn't got any sausages to make 'Toad in the Hole' . Pours gold with a white head, slight haze, lighter gold than the other offering from Zero Labs. There's a pilsner in there, bitterness is pretty good and lingers for some time, dry finish, light citrus, yeah it's ok. Score: 6.0

Pours gold with a white head, clarity is good, however that's as positive as it gets, the beer flavour tastes a bit fake, like it's been added at the end of the process, a bit fake. Score: 4.5

Bottle picked up from Äpfel Getrankemarkt Moosburg and consumed at home Tuesday 24th March 2026, listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music we had Pork & Fennel Meatballs and Rice. Pours mid clear gold with a mid/large white head. Aroma suggests a little malt, light fruitiness, pleasant bite, easy drinking beer and for an alcohol free abv option this is pretty good. Score: 6.8
