Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Fairly bitter with an aroma of grassy and fruity hop, some pine, gooseberries, weedy hop, touch of grape. Finishes a bit dry and bitter. Medium body. NZ hop aroma with the bitterness of a Westie.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Sweet with lots of cherries, lightly tart dark/red fruits. Sweet rather than sour, but I don't mind it too much. Medium body.

Cozy taproom with 15 taps, a number of wine taps and a serviceable selection of cans. Owned by the same guy who runs the local beers store.
Had a look at their online menu, but not all options were available. If you want something from the menu they don't have on site, they will go to the beer store to get it for you. The personnel was really friendly and accomodating, adding to the coze vibe.
The tap list wasn't the most interesting, but they did have a nice Soma on. Cans from various European breweries such as Hopalaa, Soma, Oslo, Kees.
Better make a reservation if you want to visit, it seems pretty popular with locals.

Can at Proefsalon Kisjes, Meppel. Lots of chocolate with roasted malt, cocoa nibs, some vanilla and caramel. Medium sweet with a little booze in the finish. Long chocolate roasty finish, very nice. Medium to full body.
