Can. Color: Black, brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, some coffee, Whiskey and Port notes. Taste: Roasted malt, Whiskey, subtle Port hints, some coffee. Moderate to over moderate sweet and bitter. Smooth mouthfeel, full body, below average carbonation. Nice one.

Bottle. Color: Dark reddish brown, no head. Aroma: Caramel, dark fruit, red wine. Sweetish. Taste: No carbonation, sweetish, boozy hints. Nice blend of caramel, dark malt, dark fruit, red wine, some apricot, spicy ginger. Over medium sweetness, but not too sweet. Light bitterness. Full body. Very nice.

Bottle. Color: Lightly hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Tart fruity white grape and apple. Taste: Moderate to over moderate tartness, white grape, apple, apple peel, horse stable funk, some oak wood, tannins, minerals. Medium body, a bit over carbonated. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Ok.

Taste: Very well balanced mix of fruity grape, some gooseberry and citrus, floral and herbal notes, subtle horse stable funk. Medium body, average carbonation. Moderate to over moderate tart, light sweet and very light bitterness. Nice one.

Can. Color: Black, brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt combined with fruity Cognac, grapes. Taste: Well balanced mix of roasted malt, fruity Cognac, almond, some chocolate and liquorice. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Medium sweet, over moderate bitterness. Smooth, lightly creamy body. Boozy hints, lightly warming and lightly sticky mouthfeel. Very nice

Over moderate sweet, moderate going to over moderate bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Dry-ish finish.

Straight from can during a long hike. Aroma: Hoppy, coffee bean. Taste: Blend of hoppy IPA and slightly sourish coffee bean. Nice amount of bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Light sweet, over moderate bitterness. Dry finish. Ok.
