Bottle. Color: Black, large light brown head. Aroma: Dark chocolate, earthy, roasted malt. Taste: Dry-ish mouthfeel, earthy, dark chocolate notes, hints of coffee, roasted malt, floral hop backbone. Moderate sweet and moderate to ovet moderate bitterness. Medium body, above average carbonation. Ok.

Bottle. Color: Hazy golden, hige white head. Aroma: Wheat malt, tropical fruit, some hop. Taste: Wheat malt, hop, tropical fruit notes like passion fruit and guava, hints of lime. Medium body, above average carbonation. Moderate sweet and moderate bitterness. Ok White IPA overall.

Bottle. Color: Hazy amber, beige head. Aroma: Caramel malt, forest fruit. Taste: A lot of forest fruit like blueberry, strawberry, blackberry. Caramel malt. Floral hop backbone. Moderate to over moderate sweet, lightly sour and light bitterness. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Maybe a little Brett. I wonder whether it was meant to taste like this. Probably will never know... But it's ok for me.

Bottle from Auberge du Sommet du Hohneck. Color: Hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Floral hop, hints of citrus. Taste: Floral hop, some citrus fruit, a little zesty. Over moderate bitterness, light sweetness. Ok.

Bottle. Color: Hazy orange-brown, beige head. Aroma: Spicy, candied fruit. Taste: Candied fruit, orange, spices, malty. Medium body, below average carbonation. Moderate to over moderate sweet, very light bitter and sourish. Have had far better Christmas beers.

Bottle. Color: Hazy orange, yellow-ish off-white head. Aroma: Malty, grainy. Taste: Malty, grainy notes, hoppy backbone. Some stone fruit. Just over medium body, below average carbonation. Not much going on. Love the reference to honor WW1 soldiers, but this beer just isn't good enough for that.

Bottle. Color: Hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Spicy, wheat malt. Taste: spicy, wheat malt, fruity orange notes and lime hints. Pretty dense body for this style. Sweetish, white sugar hints. Just over medium body, below average carbonation. Modertae to over moderate sweet, light to moderate bitterness.
