Handpull cask at the Needle & Pin, Loughborough. Dark brown and slightly translucent with a thin khaki/tan head. Black malt aroma, some Marmite, some salted treacle. Taste has a sweetness with a quickly following yeasty umami. Some good bitterness in the back of the tongue at the finish. Medium to full body with soft to medium carbonation.

Draught keg at the Needle & Pin, Loughborough. Light gold, a little hazy with a good-sized white head. Sweet aroma, getting grapefruit, lemon sugar, doughy yeast. Sweet taste, nice malt base, with a gentle bitterness at the finish. Much more rounded than your average hazy.

Draught keg at the Needle & Pin, Loughborough. Light gold and clear with the smallest possible layer of white head. Bready and slightly gummy resinous aroma with notes of brown sugar. Sweet, very sweet in the mouth, some lemon cake. Medium body with carbonation slightly on the heavy side. I like this.

Draught keg at the Needle & Pin, Loughborough. Light gold and clear with a small swirl of white head. Light lemony aroma, a little bit of pine, some fresh grass. Tastes bitter but not incredibly so, with light grapefruit and a little bit more pine. Light to medium body with medium carbonation. It's pretty tame... has it been dialled back or am I used to ever increasingly hopped beers? Still it is enjoyable enough.

Draught keg at the Real Ale Classroom, Leicester city centre. Light to mid-gold and a little hazy with a small swirl of white head. Fruity aroma of papaya, pineapple, pomelo. Amazing taste with an initial syrupy sweetness with cracked wheat and graham biscuit maltiness followed by pure hop. Bitter but not overly so and awash with tropical fruit. Body isn't quite as heavy as I expected but the heavy carbonation makes up for it. Another banger from Azvex.

Draught Keg at the Real Ale Classroom, Leicester City Centre. Cream coloured and thick/hazy with a beige head. Vanilla aroma, some banana, a little bit of coconut. The coconut is stronger in the mouth, with more banana and maybe a touch of lemon. French vanilla and some lime posset in the finish. Thick body but not impossibly so. Pretty sexy.

Draught keg at the Real Ale Classroom, Leicester city centre. This pour, wow... purplish red and impenetrable thick/hazy. Sharp, bright berry aroma. The blackberry comes through so cleanly and I feel like I'm imagining raspberry too. Good sour berry taste (again more of the blackberry than anything else) followed by a dollop of fresh coconut milk sweetness. Body is thick and soupy. Lovely. A great sour.
