440ml can bought as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Light to medium golden yellow, a touch of green. Incredibly hazy with a quickly dissipating white head. Lovely aroma with peach frozen yoghurt, some pink grapefruit, a little bit of pineapple. Sweet, creamy taste up front with peaches and apricot to the fore, quickly followed by an intense bitterness to the finish. Medium body with carbonation on the soft side. Very good.

440ml can as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Pours orange yellow, on the light side with a quickly dissipating white head. Spicy hop with notes of gooseberry, lime, pine, cracked wheat, apricot. Tastes quite bitter - not impossibly so, but certainly no sugar bomb - with lime leaf, vanilla, pine, sweaty apricot. Nice pineapple and melon notes on the finish, with more bitterness here. Body’s fairly thin, and the carbonation is dialled back. All in all this is an absolutely cracking IPA.

Very different from its Goat Major incarnation although the inside is similar (sadly with the Goat Major pictures removed). No longer a Brain's pub but the added choice of breweries doesn't really mean better beer. My VoG was pretty average and a massive short pour. Feels more like a High Street pub than something special now.

16 ounce can. A gift from my wonderful wife (I think she goes to Friends of Ham in Leeds but wouldn’t swear to it). Light to mid gold, hazy with a quickly dissipating white head. Aroma of apricot and melon, a little bit of papaya. Sweet, lots of tropical fruit and vanilla on the fore. Nice hop bitter aftertaste with citrus on the aftertaste. Extraordinary DIPA.

400ml can bought from the Queens Road Tap and drunk at home. Purplish brown, a little translucent with a small foamy off-white head. Flowery aroma, somewhat artificial plum. Sweet taste, lots of plum up front with a notably bitter taste in the finish. Light suggestions of blueberry and liquorice. Body on the lighter side, medium carbonation. A bit odd but likeable enough.
