A rich, smooth Baltic Porter. Packed with plum and damson for a super fruity beer with a dark, toasted backbone. Guess what?! This beer is actually considered a lager - not an ale. As it's brewed with lots of dark malts, and lagered for 6 weeks in tank. Giving it a smooth, refined finish.

Vegan and gluten-free baltic porter.
Hops: Loral. Žatec.

400ml can bought from the Queens Road Tap and drunk at home. Purplish brown, a little translucent with a small foamy off-white head. Flowery aroma, somewhat artificial plum. Sweet taste, lots of plum up front with a notably bitter taste in the finish. Light suggestions of blueberry and liquorice. Body on the lighter side, medium carbonation. A bit odd but likeable enough.

440ml can from Triple Point. Gluten Free. Dark brown amber colour, khaki foam head and aroma of malt, roasty hint, bread, plum. Taste is roasty malt, fruity plum notes, bready, chocolate, coffee, with earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, plummy roasty bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.
