16 oz can. Aroma has notes of guava, orange, SweeTarts; a weird pukey off-note comes out after warming up a little. Pours hazy orange with a half finger off-white head that settles into a ring after a minute. Taste is moderately sour (7/10) with flavors of the added fruit.

12 oz bottle. Just realized this is 15 months old. Aroma is woody, chocolate, coffee, wet stone. Pours inky black with a half finger beige head that settles into a ring quickly. Taste is bittersweet, finishing dry, with flavors of bourbon barrel, cocoa, and coffee. Flavors seem a little muted at this stage, but it’s not bad.

500 ml bottle. Aroma has notes of wood, berries, funk, vanilla, chocolate, raisin, amazingness. Pours opaque dark brown with a one finger beige head with good retention. Taste is moderately to highly sour (8/10), moderately bitter, and savory with flavors of dark fruit, wine barrel, bourbon barrel, and funk. Delicious and complex. What an interesting beer. This has completely changed my views on sour stouts/porters. This might be the first good one I’ve had.

12 oz can from a 12 pack. Aroma is sweet malts, grassy. Pours hazy golden with a one+ finger bone-white head with decent retention. Taste has a bready malt sweetness backed by light building to moderate herbal hop bitterness. Finishes dry. Crisp, clean, and refreshing.

16 oz can. Aroma is roasty, coffee, coconut, dark fruit, cocoa. Pours dark brown to black with a one finger beige head with good retention. Taste is sweet and roasty and lightly tart. I’m thinking the tartness doesn’t belong here, but it’s not hard to look past it. Not bad.

12 oz can. 2025 version is 15.8% ABV. Aroma has notes of toffee, apple, wood, coconut, earth, fudge. Pours very dark brown with a quickly collapsing beige head. Taste is highly sweet with a firmly bitter edge. A bit boozy.

16 oz can. Aroma is grassy, crackery. After gushing all over the place and settling down, it pours hazy golden with a one finger off-white head with good retention. Taste is mildly bitter that builds up on the palate a little and fairly sweet with grassy flavors. Not sure what makes it so different than other craft Pilsners. Edit: Seemed tame and boring at first, but it got more interesting after warming up a little and the taste really started to grow on me.
