12oz can pours with a clear gold colored body that supports a white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up a blend of citrus, floral and a bit of pine like hoppiness. The taste delivers a bitter hop forward statement that grows on me with each can consumed. It provides grapefruit and pine hop bitterness flowing into a thin layer of floral hops. The body has just the right support to keep this thing intact. Nice offering.

Poured up on tap at Tipsy Cactus where it exhibits a clear mahogany brown colored body that supports a nice dark tan head of foam. The aroma offers up chocolate, a bit of dark roasted malt with molasses going on in the background. The taste a pleasing blend of dark roasted malts, chocolate and thin molasses nuanced sweet dark fruity esters. Another sip reveals more of a charred maltiness that reaches into a bit of earthiness. Solid take on the style.

Can pours with a clear deep gold colored body that supports a nice white head of foam. The aroma offers up some malt nuanced pine hops as well as slivers of grapefruit in the background. The taste delivers a nice hoppy bite but does become a little too soft and sweet about midway as maltiness comes to the surface. The hops deliver mostly grapefruit like citrus hoppiness as well as a bit of a woody pine like sensation. Fun beer with an enjoyable level of hoppy bitterness.
