Panda, courtesy of S.H.I.G., pours with a clear gold colored body that has thin rosy hues and supporting a brief near white head. The aroma offers up citrus and berry like notes as well as tart fruity candy. The taste delivers an initial smooth sweet ride flowing into growing fruity tanginess coming from citrus and berry as well as a tad of watermelon rind and lemon. Kind of a fun summer elixir as it's punchy, refreshing and dry. Nice.

Pint can, courtesy of S.H.I.G., pours with a dark chocolate colored body that supports a mocha colored head of foam. The aroma offers up classic chocolate, vanilla and dark roasted malt vibes. I'm not picking up cinnamon here. The taste delivers smooth vanilla and chocolate malts allowing for snippets of dark roasted malts and sugar sweetness to poke through here and there. This attains a pleasing balance where it doesn't seem to become too sweet. After a few ounces it seems to have a sense of cola soda somehow. Pretty nice brew.

Pint can pours with a nice dark mahogany colored body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up woody, some pine and then a thin ring of grapefruit. The taste delivers a pleasing blend of pine hop and grapefruit hop bitterness mingling with dark roasted malts, a bit of charred malts and then chocolate malts. This comes together nicely with tasty depth and balance.

50cl bottle pours with a dark brown mahogany colored body that supports a full fairly tight tan colored head. The aroma offers up some malt roastiness bleeding into thin clouds of vanilla, dark fruity esters and boozy heat. Another whiff and a little more concentration reveals fresh vanilla bean goodness. Nice. Odd for a barleywine though. The taste delivers a fairly smooth and near creamy mouth feel ushering in a blend of roasted malts, with a dark roasted coffee sensation and then rich savory sweet vanilla bean goodnes. To midway murmurs of sweet dark fruity esters tend to be over shadow by a growing alcohol burn that's doing well to keep the overall sweetness in check. I'm not a big fan of these pastry barleywines but this one isn't too bad. What can TDNE do with an English or American barleywine? Love to find out.

Panda pour, courtesy of S.H.I.G., thanks, pours with clear pink to reddish colored body that supports a short lived near with head that has a pinkish hue to it. It lasted seconds. The aroma offers up offers up an initial sense of red wine tannins and then berries that certainly lean in the blackberry direction. At the end of the draw is a mild wax like aromatic sensation. The taste delivers a smooth balanced palate blending into a bit of a mild alcohol dryness. I get a blend of vague berry to blackberry fruitiness weighed down by a thin layer of waxiness. Nice enough and dry enough to drink a fair amount of this if needed.
