Gurthnar Profile

Med-full bod, med-light carbo. Med-high bitter, med-light sweet. Lots of roast, med-high coffee, med cocoa, light dark chocolate. Soft creamy mouthfeel. Orange, if present, is very light, I do not get any. A very pleasant easy drinking B porter though.

BBT 12/2025. Thinnish bod, med-low carbo. Head good, but bubbles not in mouthf. Med-light sweet, light bitter, hint of warmth. Med woody, coconuty, vanilla, light rumy. Light toffee, nutty. Could use both more depth and width of flavour. Good though.

BBT 12/2025. Massive roasty aroma. Less so in taste. Med-thin body, feels watery somehow. Medium pistacchio, but feels a bit chemical, artificial. Flavour is sugary, caney, candyish. A bit empty. Good but not great.

BBT 12/2025. Med-thin body, could use a bit more. Med-light carbo. Med-high roasty bitter, light-low sweet. Malt-centered, medium cocoa, med-light choco, ashy burnt, light coffee. Good one, could overall use more complexity, and intensity, but also good as is.

BBT 12/2025. Med-light sweetness, not dry. Apple complexity is higher than in commercial ciders, yet lower than I expected. Natural, but lacking the true cider varieties, feels more dessert apple like.

BBT 12/2025. Med body, med lactose, a bit cheesy. Light carbo, could use much more. Med sweet. Light sour, could also use more. Medium combo maltiness of choco, toffee, cara, nutty. Honestly not bad, but feels a bit rough, lacks some sophistication. Okay though.

BBT 12/2025. Pretty weird, intense old clove in aroma. Weirdly spiced. Oregano and old clove in taste too. Rather thin, also lots of tomatoes, but with a bit grassy earthy edge. Drinkable, goodish, weirdish.

BBT 12/2025. Thinnish, a bit dry, watery. Med-high carbo. Med sour, clean lacto, low bitter and sweet. Pretty strong classic Italian herbing, lots of basil and oregano. Only med-light tomato, could use much more. And totally background pineapple. Could use finetuning.

BBT 12/2025. Rather thinnish body, pretty dry. Med carbonation. Med bitter, low sweet. Medium roasty, coffeeish malt, a bit of astringency too. Light honey presence. Light alc, a bit sharp, not overly so. Overall goodish.
