330 ml bottle. Pours a bright gold with full head. Aromas of candied pineapple, cilantro, stoned fruit peels and biscuity malts. Flavors follow same with additional grass and slightly tart grapes. One of the best in the series.

English style corner pub with lots of outside street seating. 36 taps and a relatively large online bottle menu. Good selection of EU craft. Best place so far during my Nijmegen visit. Definitely worth a stop.

330 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown with short tan head. Aromas of sugary red berries, a bit of chocolate, and soft toasted malts. Flavors bring on lots of jammy raspberries, though not overpowering chocolate and roasted malts. Very good.

Mid sized brown bar with fairly large street patio. Eleven taps and a reasonable bottle menu; but with the latter not really up to date. Primarily focused on Belgians and Dutch breweries. Some interesting finds in both with the latter hiding in small fridges that were not included in the menu. Worth a visit.

330 ml can. Pours a very dark reddish brown with moderate head. Aromas of sharp vinous oak, salt, sweat, raisins and toasted malts. Flavors of caramel, vinous oak, non descript fruit, and toasted malts. Very Kees with the oak vinous notes that seem independent of barrel. Good.

330 ml can. Pours a thick black sludge with no head. Aromas of toasted coconut, chocolate fudge, and thick oily roasted malts. Flavors follow same with additional sickeningly sweet artificial red berries. An extreme pastry stout that I cannot finish. Definitely delusional…

On tap. Pours a dark reddish brown with moderate head. Aromas of candi sugar, sweet dark fruit and toasted malts. Flavors follow same with malts forward and a bit of sweetness and Belgian yeast in the finish. More of a Dubbel than a barley wine.
