330 ml bottle. Pours black with a slim dark tan head. Aromas of coconut, syrupy dark chocolate, bourbon, vanilla and slick roasted malts. Rich flavors of chocolate nougat, coconut, bourbon, vanilla, and oily roasted malts. Warm finish. Excellent.

330 ml can. Pours black with a full tan head. Aromas of creamy coffee, chocolate, nuts and roasted malts. Rich creamy flavors follow the same with oily roasted malts and a little warmth in the finish.

Very small tasting room with 12 taps of house beers. Worth a stop for ticks if in the vicinity. Serves food as well.

On tap. Pours a hazy amber with moderate head. Aromas of wheat, coriander, banana and candied citrus. Flavors follow same with more earthy wheat and some esters. A nice hefe.

Easily the best beer store in Port Alberni. Small compared to other Cascadia stores with a relatively small beer selection, though well representing local and BC breweries.

On tap. Pours a dark amber with light head. Aromas of grass, dried fruit and biscuity malts. Flavors of stale hops and dull toasted malts. Maybe very old?

On tap. Pours a deep mahogany with moderate head. Aromas of dry caramel, sweet muddled fruit and toasted malts. Flavors follow same with everything a bit sharper. A middle of the road red ale.
