Gerbeer Profile - Brewver (Dev)

A small rustic apple farm with outdoor tasting area. Seven ciders on tap with options for flights of four or 8 oz pours. Bottle fills to go. Food truck on site on a Saturday. A little out of the way, but looks like a great place to hang out to enjoy a sunny summer day.

On tap. Pours a hazy yellow/amber. Aromas of waxy candied lemons and soft mashed apples. Flavors follow same with a little pine and sulphur (and definite Citra). Interesting and tasty. Quite nice.

On tap. Pours a bright copper color. Aromas of dry pie apples. Flavors of yellow apples, a bit of florals and a bit of cinnamon. Dry. Nice.

on tap. Pours a thick turbid pinkish red like a fruit smoothy with quite a bit of sediment. Maybe the end of the keg? Aromas of earthy berries and apples. Flavors of dull raspberries, some blueberries and applesauce. Not my type of thing.

330 ml bottle. Pours a dull amber with moderate head. Aromas of earthy esters, waxy Belgian yeast and wheaty malts with a bit of white pepper. Flavors of fruity esters, Belgian yeast with coriander, and dry wheaty malts. Very La Chouffe.

473 ml can. Pours a bright amber with light head that settles quickly. Aromas of old apples, other fruit, corn syrup and wet toasted malts. Sweet flavors follow same. Really just a malt liquor at 8%. OK for getting a buzz on I guess.

473 ml can. Pours a bright mahogany color with light head that settles quickly. Aromas of earthy coffee, fruit and toasted malts. Flavors of same with emphasis on coffee which overwhelms the base beer.

473 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with full bubbly tan head. Aromas of roasted malts, lactose, and a bit of nutty chocolate. Flavors of same with less lactose and more roasted malts. Thin. OK.
