Light, crisp, effervescent, and quenching, Nine Locks Dirty Blonde is a North American-style Weizen brewed with Canadian wheat and barley. Bready, grainy wheat notes give way to a slightly tart, acidic finish. The perfect choice for a summer barbecue, a night out with friends, or any time you’re thirsting for something a little different.

On tap at the Bicycle Thief in Halifax. Pours a hazy yellow with a light head. Aromas and flavors of soft fruity wheat. Mild and a bit watery. Easy to drink but not memorable.

5oz pour at Your Fathers Moustache. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Some cracker malts on the nose. Flavour has soggy cracker malts, a touch of black pepper, gentle grass. Pretty unremarkable.

Pours lightly hazy gold. The light aroma is of grainy, bready malt with some lemon. The flavor is light, bready, and malty with a touch of citrus. There’s some mild hops adding minimal bitterness. It’s clean and alright.

Tap @ the brewery. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are grass, fruits, malt and has a nice fruity little grassy finish.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy gold-yellow with a small, short lived, foamy, ecru head that laces. Sweet aroma of bready wheat malt, red apple and earthy yeast. Sweet flavour of grainy wheat malt, lemon peel, earthy yeast and grassy hops in a crisp, dry, slightly tart finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Turns out this Blonde isn't Dirty at all. Looks like she's all talk and no action.

Pours a hazy amber from a can. Big wheaty aroma and flavor, definitely not a pale ale.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of straw, grains and bread notes. Flavor is similar with straw throughout the beer supported by bread and grain notes.
