Dragon's Milk Emerald IPA from New Holland Brewing Company (Holland, United States 🇺🇸)

Smells of resinous and citrusy hops with oak. Tastes of piney and citrusy hops, caramel malt, vanilla, and oak. Hops is substantial though perhaps not as palate crushing as I expected/hoped. Good. I don’t get using the Dragon’s Milk name on an IPA though.

pours clear amber with a small, quickly fading head. Toasted toffee malt aroma. Flavor is of roasted malt and toffee. It’s very malty without being overly sugary. They’ve got the balance right. There’s some mild hops in the finish. Very good.

Belgian White Non-Alcoholic from Blue Moon Brewing Company (Denver, United States 🇺🇸)

5.1/10 — Appearance 6 Aroma 6 Flavor 3.5 Texture 6 Overall 5

Pour hazy yellow with a small white head. Smells of spices and citrus. The flavor is too spice dominated at first and gets better as it warms with the wheat and citrus coming through more. It’s not terrible but it’s not something I’d reach for again.

Berry Patch Fandango from Toppling Goliath Brewing Company (Decorah, United States 🇺🇸)

Pours ruby red with a lingering light pink head. Aroma full of tart berries. Tastes of berries, especially raspberries, with pleasant tartness. Very nice.

Delicious Hazy IPA from Stone Brewing (Escondido, United States 🇺🇸)

Pours hazy gold with a white head. Smells mostly of citrusy hops. Flavor is mild to moderate bitterness, citrus, and malty sweetness. It’s good but didn’t strike me as a standout hazy.

Big Daddy’s from 12 Corners Vineyards (Benton Harbor, United States 🇺🇸)

Pours clear gold and has a rich apple aroma with a touch of florals. The flavor is sweet, sweeter than I’d like, but has a crisp, full apple taste that makes it more enjoyable to me than many overly sweet ciders.
