Olut Profile - Brewver (Dev)

Smart looking tap in the corner of the yard of the brewery in a large cube shaped open plan room, with two floors. It's a permanent build with the bar under the floor above at the back of the room with cask and keg mainly from brewer, but a guest or two adds a little extra to the place. Sheltered huts have been built across from the entrance and exposed picnic tables further into the yard by all the kegs.

It's Barry Gibb's birthday today - he's provided plenty of disco zing in his time! Hazy juice appearance, closest to mango in appearance but passion fruit and orange citrus is more of the taste with a low to mid sourness.

In May Sherpa Kami Rita scaled Everest for a record 31st time. Blonde clear lager with plenty of the added rice evident in an otherwise regular sweet effort. This does give it a bit of character.

A beer that sounds like a branch of solicitors. Hazy golden with very little head. A little zest through its carbonation, delaying a blast of pine and tropical fruits with an orange citrus base, although a low citrus bitterness. Aroma has similar.

The Withnail & I Lake District holiday cottage is called Crow Crag. Golden with a glow and carbonation. Lemon dominates aroma and taste, and is bitter-sweet.

Along with Biff, Pow and Wham, Zap is one of the often used cartoon words overlapping the fight scenes in the original Batman series. Mildly hazed golden and a little watery, and towards flavourless for it. A few tropical fruits are evident, but its aroma carries the best notes of these.

I lived on the other side of the Rochdale canal to the old Phoenix Works during my time in MCR. Hazy golden Full pine aroma and taste, on the sweeter side of things, but a developing citric bitterness in aftertaste.
