Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Beer#11. POOLE. Not quite a folly but Brownsea Castle on Brownsea Island is a picturesque building within the natural harbour of Poole. Had this one not too far away on the mainland. Golden with a creamy head. Light but tasty pineapple, mango and lime. Easy enough session beer.

Quayside microbar pretty much where the commercial street ends at the water. This place is almost on it, with outside seating to watch the tops of the current moored boats bobbing about. It's not really a beer destination with 9 keg ales of mostly often seen stuff, but at the time of writing they are brewing their own recipe around the corner at Brewhouse & Kitchen and it's unique to this very dark atmospheric tiny venue. Two real ciders are available too. Toilets are accessed through an adjoining restaurant upstairs.

Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Beer#10. POOLE. Drank on the attractive quayside in the harbour town of Poole in Dorset at Drift Microbar and golden with a creamy head. Pineapple is dominant but not too sweet. Good aroma of the fruit and mango evident too.
